FRAGILE

The story of the brand Fragile began in 2022, rooted in a long-standing tradition and connection with glassmaking on the island of Venice, specifically in Murano. Here, designer Francesco Perruccio pursued his vision and determination after deeply studying Venetian glassmaking techniques during his thesis. He graduated from IUAV and later completed his master’s degree at the Politecnico di Milano.

It was through working and engaging with the masters of the most prestigious glass furnaces in Venice that the artist decided to embark on a new creative journey, establishing the Fragile brand.

Creativity, authenticity, history, passion, integrity, courage, innovation. These are Fragile’s values, enabling it to merge tradition with the future of design. Through its glass heritage, Fragile seeks to merge tradition with innovation through a unique process driven by a talent for research and experimentation, which lies at the core of the young designer’s DNA inspiring timeless aesthetic expressions.

The concept of “fragile” can be applied to objects, materials, relationships, or situations. This is why the artist connects his words, drawings, patterns, and emotions to common situations, reminding us of our fragility and raising awareness of the meaning behind the word itself. “Fragile” thus becomes a pretext for how this brand seeks to present itself—bold and disruptive—by addressing powerful themes and aspects of everyday life.
